How Do You Use PDR Glue Tabs?

Clean the Area: The first step is to thoroughly clean the area of the vehicle where the dent is located. This will ensure that the glue sticks properly to the car. Use rubbing alcohol or a specific car cleaner to do this, making sure to remove all dirt and debris.

Apply the Glue: Once the area is clean, apply a generous amount of PDR glue to the glue tab. You want to make sure the tab is completely covered, but not so much that it drips off.

Place the Tab: Carefully place the glue-covered tab onto the center of the dent. Press it lightly to make sure it adheres properly to the surface of the car.

Let the Glue Dry: You must let the glue dry completely before moving on to the next step. The drying time can vary depending on the type of glue you’re using, but it’s typically around 15 - 20 Seconds.

Use a Slide Hammer or Mini Lifter: Once the glue has dried, attach a slide hammer or mini lifter to the tab. Gently pull the tab until the dent pops out. It may take a few tries to get the dent completely out, and larger dents may require the use of multiple tabs.

Remove the Glue: After you’ve pulled out the dent, the glue needs to be removed. Apply a few drops of a glue remover solution or rubbing alcohol to the glue and let it sit for a minute or so. Then, use a plastic scraper to carefully scrape off the glue without scratching the paint.

Clean the Area Again: Finally, clean the area again to remove any residue left by the glue or glue remover.
